APRIL Group and Asia Symbol participated in the Shanghai Pulp Week on 18 – 22 March 2019 - one of the major annual events for the industry participated by key industry players with more than 500 guests from over 20 countries. All the major suppliers (both Hardwood and Softwood) from LATAM, Europe, North America and Asia were present with their leadership team.

APRIL Group and Asia Symbol achieved active exposure through sponsorship and guest speaking at two key events - China Paper Industry Chamber of Commerce seminar and Hawkins Wright Shanghai Symposium. Our speakers, Mr. Wanyan Shaohua (APRIL Paper Business Head) and Mr. Hu Wei (Asia Symbol Commercial Head) shared the global outlook for pulp & paper and reiterated that woodchip and market pulp supply would be tight for the next three years. As the leading producer of pulp and uncoated woodfree paper, APRIL Group is confident that the market demand will grow and price recovery is expected soon.
